Bio

‘Hi! I'm Kortni. I've been singing, dancing and performing since the age of five.

Within my career I have supported Westlife (as part of Stars on the Future), won many singing competitions and performed in prestigious venues all over the UK. Most recently I was a finalist at Live & Unsigned, performing in front of judges Malcolm McLaren (the Sex Pistols Manager), Annie Nightingale CBE (Radio One Legend) and Martin O Shea (Atomic Kittens Manager).

My TV work includes "My Parents Are Aliens, Warts and All" on ITV and more recently I appeared on Sky One in the Guinness Book of Records, breaking the record for the most duets sung with Duncan James from "Blue".

I am so excited to have just won the prestigious title of Yorkshire’s Voice 2009. The competition final took place at Xscape, Castleford in front of a huge crowd. The competition is sponsored by the Wakefield Express & Pontefract & Castleford Express. I performed on the same bill as the Wakefield Wild Cats Cheerleading Team, and the other talented finalists. I am thrilled to have won, and have been invited to perform before the match at Wakefield Wildcats game against Hull, Sunday 13th September. I can’t wait.

I have a new mentor – Georgina Hill-Brown of Vocaltutor who has worked for MTV, BBC, and worked with some of the best voices in the industry. I am excited to be working with her, and can’t wait to write more songs, for my new album. So far I have 5 of my own songs. You can hear them on my website. My style is ‘powerful yet soulful’.

Love Kortni. x
